| 6th Annual Un-Superbowl Campout |
Feb 3-5th
|
Nehalem Bay State Park |
Same deal as last year, we need 7 "Guardians of the Meeting Hall" (email backchannel at 10$ check/paypal to get your name in lights- i.e. ink
on the printer paper).
NOTE:
Each person needs to get their own campsite this year. Last year we got
hassled over and over about the "2nd Vehicle" rule, so please just spend the
extra 9 bucks and get your own site.
We take over the A LOOP, so reserve sites there.
Latecomers, just show up, read the reserve list (posted at the campground),
and grab one close by. The meeting hall is by A51, so go for a site near
there.
This website will tell you what is still available: www.oregonstateparks.org
Events include "Saturday afternoon bus tour" and "Sunday at the recycling
center",
plus SATURDAY NIGHT HUGE POTLUCK and campfires, and beach walks, trash
pickup, dog walking, VW socializing, and all the other good WetWesties VW
comparing, chatting, and yummy eating!
Email with questions.
Looks to be another good year in VW land!

| The 2006 Tax Relief Campout |
| April 14-16th |
Kiger Island, Corvallis, OR |
Bring all those receipts you couldn't write off and throw them in the fire!
10 private acres outside of Corvallis -- no rangers, no hassles, FREE
CAMPING
There will be fire, there will be rockets, there may even be live music! (Note to musicians: bring your instruments.) There will be lots of room! There is even access for the moderately adventurous to a side channel of the Willamette River for kayaks, etc. This campout will be held on private property, so there will be no electricity or water available, but, after all, the camping is FREE. ;-)
-> we *are* looking for 10 "Guardians of the Potty" -- well, OK, Honey Bucket sponsors -- at $10 each. Since the camping is FREE, that shouldn't be too painful.
Saturday night potluck, as always -- if you have a folding table and/or folding canopy, please bring them! We can construct our own meeting hall.

initiation again :-)
If you are so inclined, you can email me that you are
going and i'll start a folder... but it is 254 days
away... Heck, i'm not sure if i can go yet! But the

WE HAVE THE MEETING HALL so we can stay dry.
We have electricity - please if you have come in the past you know the drill
bring 30 amp adapters, heavy gauge extension cords, and please only one heater (15 amp max) per
bus. Try not to do TVs, microwaves, or coffee makers in your bus without coordinating it with
everyone plugged in. Thanks (last year we over did it).

In the past we have had different people friday and saturday nights, so if you can only make one
night please feel free to come on by. Traditional potluck Saturday night. Friday night we usually
gather and share more informally and also all day Saturday. In the past we have tried a pancake
breakfast on Sunday so keep that in mind too.
Activities abound on park property and frequently tie dyeing is an option. Tthere is usually a fair share of picture sharing, winter destinations discussed and small projects
going on.

Everyone is welcome
